My name is Gina Caccavale I graduated from the University of Florida with my BFA in Graphic Design in 2003. Since graduating I have worked in corporate america, but my talent is in the creative world. In my spare time I love to paint with acrylic, it's my little release from reality.

Most of the print work I have done is in the restaurant and t-shirt industries but is now growing into other marketing and advertising fields as well. I believe in both form and function, clean simple designs. I love white space and providing the eye a place to rest. However, you will see quite the opposite in my paintings.

Painting is my release from the real world. They are bold and colorful, some are what I feel and others are simple graphical representations of found images. I experiment in field painting but mostly enjoy pop art styles such as Andy Warhol and Keith Haring.

My logo is a result of a metamorphosis. While working in Sales and HR I grew tired of signing my long italian name and so I began to quickly initial document with a circle to complete. Over time I discovered it was also much easier to use this shortcut on my paintings, and so my logo emerged.

THE SWAMP RESTAURANT
That's right for all of you Gainesville lovers, I was a Swamp girl. A Server at first, but my position eventually turned into the Print and Promotional Designer. You remember those great t-shirts like "It's Meyer Time, Great Coach Less Losses' yep that was my creative hand at work.

FERGUSON ENTERPRISES, INC.
The Ferg, A huge company known as a whole sale plumbing company and many other things. I worked in the Design Showroom as an Inside Sales Associate. I can honestly say the people I worked with and met while employed at Ferguson were the most fun and energetic people I could have worked with.

MTS TECHNOLOGIES, INC.
MTS is an IT firm based in Arlington. It is known for government contract work such as the US101. I worked at MTS as the Creative Lead in the communications department for a year before my position was eliminated due to the economy.

QCA usa
QCA is a PR/Marketing firm based in Tampa, FL. Iworked remotely as the the Area Manager and New Business Development Manager for the South West Florida region or FDOT District 1. QCA focused on PIO and Road Construction contracts, this is where I learned the politics behind municipalities, contracts and the corporate world. Unfortunately my position along with national business development was eliminated due to the economy.
